Postdoctoral project “Interference Reduction for Direct Conversion Receiver Using Compressed Sensing” (IRfDUCS) is financed by The Danish Council for Independent Research, Technology and Production Science . The project is financed as an individual postdoctoral grant.

The total budget for the project is 2 711 169 danish krones (ca. 470 000 USD).

Jacek Pierzchlewski from Aalborg University, with a help from prof. Torben Larsen and an additional support from foreign researchers, prepared the project application in summer 2012. The application was submitted to the Council on 3rd of September 2012 to the call for applications for individual postdoctoral grants. At its meeting on 13th-14th November 2012 the Council decided to grant support for the project.

At its website, The Danish Council for Independent Research publishes calls for applications for grants covering research projects. Although usually tough competition, Jacek Pierzchlewski strongly encourages researchers to consider preparing and submitting an application to the Council.
